国际机器人奥林匹克大赛（International Robot Olympiad）简称IRO，是在联合国教科文组织的指导与监督下举办的首个国际性机器人大赛。创立于1998年，是由IRO国际机器人奥林匹克委员会（IROC）每年定期举办的国际性机器人比赛。首届IRO国际机器人奥林匹克大赛于1999年成功举办，到目前为止已覆盖31个国家地区，参赛总人数超过10万人。 

The International Robot Olympiad (International Robot Olympiad), referred to as IRO, is the first international robot competition held under the guidance and supervision of UNESCO. Founded in 1998, it is an international robotics competition regularly held by the IRO International Robot Olympic Committee (IROC) every year. The first IRO International Robot Olympiad was successfully held in 1999. So far, it has covered 31 countries and regions, with a total of more than 100,000 participants.

“2020中国人工智能创新大赛暨第二十二届IRO国际机器人奥林匹克河南大赛”由中国互联网新闻中心和IRO国际机器人奥林匹克（中国河南）委员会共同主办，河南新工科教育科技有限公司承办，上海霄元信息科技有限公司技术支持，于2020年8月22日在郑州奥林匹克体育中心举行。 "2020 China Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition and the 22nd IRO International Robot Olympiad Henan Competition" is co-sponsored by China Internet News Center and IRO International Robot Olympiad (Henan, China) Committee, undertaken by Henan Xingongke Education Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Xiaoyuan Information Technology Co., Ltd. technical support. It will be held at the Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center on August 22, 2020.
